Masthead Font
I have looked at seven more fonts for my magazines title. I have been trying to focus on simpler, bolder fonts as this makes the title stand out much more.
I am thinking of changing the cover picture to one with a white background as this will make it more easy to match a suitable font with it.

Draft Cover, Double Page Spread & Contents Pages
I think that this is a good start to my cover. I have received some feedback form one of my teachers, he brought up the point that the Awe font blends into the background at the top, this is the same for the additional text on the left hand side, and the artist's name. I think that I need to make the title stand out much more, as the title may encourage people to buy the magazine.
I was told by one of my peers that they like the picture featured on this page because the model looks very natural and not posed, it fits with the genre of the magazine. Also the layout received some positive comments, and it fits the page very well. One criticism I received was that the sky looks very grey, and i could use Photoshop to enhance the colour to a better looking blue. Also I will need to add extra pictures on this page to show what else is inside the magazine.
I think that I need to include a photo of my artist with a guitar, because it is not very clear that she is a musician. I also think that i could add some text over the top left hand side of the corner to fill the gap.
